What our consultants do:

Our analysts and consultants develop and deliver bespoke digital marketing plans for our clients. With cutting-edge technical skills and insightful analysis, we unpack a client’s marketing problems, build an effective strategy, and then execute on it.

As a part of the consulting team, you will:

  • Develop the strategy of our clients’ digital marketing initiatives across all digital channels

  • Balance marketing initiatives against user experience, client budgets and brand strategy

  • Recommend and prioritize fixes for clients’ technical site issues that could impact SEO performance

  • Recommend and manage content marketing, digital PR and creative projects

  • Analyze and improve the performance of our campaigns

  • Manage timelines, expectations and deliverables to ensure clients’ campaigns are completed on-time and within budget

  • Nurture and develop client relationships

We are very proud of the level of technical expertise within our consulting team. Joining us an analyst, you should ideally have hands-on experience with:

  • Data skills (analytics, reporting, Excel / Google Spreadsheets formulas): Important data skills for this role include analyzing data using pivot tables, using queries to find the data you are looking for quickly, and using formulas such as VLookup.

  • Technical skills (an understanding of how the web and Google works). This means you have a good sense (even if only conceptually) of what happens when someone presses enter in their web browser from a technical perspective.

  • Strong knowledge of on-page SEO elements.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in Google Analytics or Omniture/SiteCatalyst

  • Strong knowledge of how websites work from a search engine’s perspective

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Experience using PHP, Python, or similar technologies to build applications or automate tasks

  • Have a marketing, business, or computer science background

Joining us as a consultant or senior consultant, you should have hands-on experience or an expertise in:  

  • On-page, off-site, and technical SEO

  • Ability to balance technical SEO tasks versus user experience

  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Deep Crawl, Screaming Frog, Searchmetrics, Google Webmaster Tools and SEMrush

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Google Analytics, Omniture/SiteCatalyst, and other analytics platforms

  • Project management

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Creating and leading pitches and business cases for your recommendations

  • Senior consultants should have experience in client development and feel comfortable leading pitches for new business

  • Consultant: 2+ years of digital marketing experience

  • Senior Consultant: 4+ years of digital marketing experience
