LinkLove London 2013 – Speaker line-up announced!

New Year, New location and plenty of new faces!

It’s not even the end of January and already we’re wishing the next couple of months away as we look forward to the next LinkLove conference in London.

Not only do we have a stellar line-up of new speakers (plus a few firm favourites), we are also excited to welcome you all to a brand new venue (but more about that later!)

Without further ado, here is the complete speaker line-up…

Claire Stokoe, MediaWorks. Claire has been working in social media for the past eight years and more recently, she has been specializing in the creation and outreach of infographics.

 

 

Lyndon Antcliff, Cornwall SEO. Lyndon helps marketers to create content that attracts, persuades and influences. A notorious linkbait expert, he now spends the majority of his time training others in how to win at content marketing.

 

Will Critchlow, Distilled. Usually pitted against Rand in their infamous ‘head-to-head’ battles, this year Will will be giving a solo presentation packed full of actionable tips and tricks that he’s learned from his day job ‘making Distilled famous’.

 

Rand Fishkin, SEOmoz. A firm favourite amongst delegates, Rand will be returning for his 11th Distilled conference. Consistently rated amongst the highest in the speaker rankings, you can expect to walk away from Rand’s session feeling inspired to go ahead and ‘win the internet’.

 

Wil Reynolds, SEER Interactive. Another favourite that we have invited back year on year, Wil’s enthusiasm and passion for SEO is infectious. I challenge anyone not to walk away from his session full of ideas and bubbling with excitement to get back to the office and put them into place.

 

Hannah Smith, Distilled. Hannah is fast becoming known amongst colleagues and the wider SEO community as the ‘Queen of Content’. From her hugely successful client results (even in the most boring of niches), Hannah will talk us through her tactics for getting those all-important links.

 

Ian Lurie, Portent. Ian joined us for the first time at last year’s SearchLove Boston. We were so impressed with his session that we have invited him over to the UK so that you can all hear his mixture of expertise and humour first-hand.

 

Richard Baxter, SEOgadget. Last year, Rich gave us a sneak peek at how they build links at SEOgadget. His moto, ‘Optimise everything’. We can’t wait to hear what he will be revealing this spring!

 

Ade Lewis, Teapot Creative. Ade has been attending Distilled’s conferences since the very beginning. This year we’ve invited him back to share the tips he’s learned doing SEO for small businesses.

New Location - The Brewery

No, not a bar (honestly) but the name did sway the votes a little when it came to deciding on a new venue for this year’s LinkLove ;-)

The Congress Centre has been a fantastic venue for us over the past couple of years but as the number of attendees has grown, we’ve decided to make the move to a bigger venue to make the experience all that more enjoyable for you.

A new venue means – more new faces to get to know, more space to network and more room for fun and games! Last year we introduced break time masseuses and basketball games, which both went down a treat. This year, we will be inviting the masseuses back to help you unwind during the day’s training, as well as coming up with more weird and wonderful additions that will take your experience from good to great!
