About the Position
We are looking to hire at least one more person to join our team, in an SEO Analyst or SEO Consultant position. You will be joining a team of ten people, and will play an important role working on client projects from your first day.
You will receive training from some of the best SEOs in the industry and will have the backing of all our consultants, from the Seattle, New York and London offices. Distilled believes that the most important indicator of success within our industry has very little to do with SEO experience and has everything to do with a technical background, outstanding communication skills and an ability to get stuff done. About Distilled
Distilled is a well known name within the SEO industry and we enjoy a reputation for being experts at what we do. We have an HQ in London and launched into America with a new office in Seattle, WA in 2010. We’ve had non-stop growth here for the last 12 months, and are planning a New York launch as well in mid-2011. There are 30 of us in total and we are 100% owned by the two directors.

We are looking for Analysts and Consultants to work on and run our various SEO projects. Your main role is to build and maintain a relationship with our clients. We believe that a good consultant has building a relationship as their top priority. Once you have built up trust with a client helping them to implement the strategy you have helped create is a far simpler job.
A consultant with Distilled has a varied and challenging day. You will be responsible for creating and executing a strategy to help companies of all sizes kick ass.

The Details
Depending on your experience you will join Distilled in one of the following roles:
- SEO Analyst: This is a junior position for someone with little or no SEO or consulting experience. Typical start salaries are between $30,000 and $45,000. The best candidates will likely progress to a SEO Consultant within the first 9 months.
- SEO Consultant: Our search consultants typically have a year or two of consulting and SEO experience. Typical starting salaries are in the $45,000 to $60,000 range.
- Senior Consultants: Our Senior consultants are incredibly comfortable leading projects of all sizes. They typically have a 3 or 4 years SEO experience with similar consulting experience. Our consultants have experience managing a team of people. Typical starting salaries are in the $60,000 to $80,000 range.
We are hoping to run a group interview (and if successful, individual interviews) in late May / early June.
