PPC Executive Job in Seattle, WA
Wanted: Smart People who can Get Stuff Done.
Distilled is well known as an expert in Organic Search Marketing (SEO), and we are now seeking to expand our Paid Search team in the States.
You will be joining a mixed search team of around twenty people in Seattle, and will play an important role working on client projects from your first day. You’ll have support from our PPC experts in the US & UK – but will need to be motivated enough to work on projects without day-to-day supervision. Depending on your experience, we’ll be able to offer training and support to bring you up to speed on the ins-and-outs of managing Paid Search campaigns.
About the Position
Depending on your experience, we’ll be able to offer training and support to bring you up to speed on the ins-and-outs of managing Paid Search campaigns.
This work will predominantly be focused on managing campaigns through Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter, but there will be other opportunities you can take advantage of. Typical tasks will include:.
- day-to-day account management (discovering and choosing keywords to target, managing bids, writing and editing ad copy, improving and removing under-performing keyword groups, etc)
- recommending changes to landing pages to improve performance
- reporting to clients on spend, impact, ROI, etc.
- explaining complex, technical processes to clients who are not familiar with PPC
- creating case studies
- assisting in the sales process
- writing posts for Distilled.net and other blogs
In addition, this position may also be responsible for other paid promotion / customer acquisition methods including Facebook advertising, Twitter promotions, display advertising and PPC advertising on other networks. Of course, if you know much about PPC, you’ll know about all this already. If you aren’t familiar with these other networks now, it will not disqualify you as a candidate.
The role will be challenging; in return we offer
- The chance to join an established company with a start-up mentality
- A relaxed and fun working environment
- Individual freedom and responsibility to take ownership of problems and solve them in creative ways.

About You
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate that you’re a smart & creative thinker, and will be just as confident tackling a spreadsheet with millions of entries as you will be explaining the basics of PPC to a client over the phone; you will not just understand the processes, but also have an impressive ability to get things done.
Ideally, you are also likely to have at least some experience managing PPC campaigns – either at an agency or in-house.
We are looking for anyone who shares the same traits and ambitions with others at Distilled. You will be excelling in your current role and will be eager for a new challenge. You feel the need to push yourself – and probably have various side projects, just for the kicks. You are someone who instantly gets on with others, enjoys meeting new people, and wants a company that encourages a fun working environment.
Not only does this role offer the opportunity to join the company at an exciting time, but if you’re someone who never wants to stop learning, you’ll fit right in.
