About the Position

We are looking to hire at least one more person to join our growing and awesome team, in an Junior SEO Consultant / SEO Analyst position. You will be joining a team of seven people, and will play an important role working on client projects from your first day.

Distilled believes that the most important indicator of success within our industry has very little to do with SEO experience and has everything to do with outstanding communication skills, an ability to get stuff done, and a technical background. About the New York City Office

The New York office is the smallest of our offices, currently with seven full time employees, including 5 consultants. The office began in June 2011 with a core team of 5 and has since grown to meet the increased demand for quality online marketing consultant, both in New York City and other areas of the country. We take pride in providing great work for our clients, both in terms of return for their business and in how we interact with them as consultants. We believe very strongly in building strong relationships with our clients and providing them excellent recommendations that they are able to implement and see positive effects from.

About You

We are looking for Analysts / Junior Consultants to work on (and eventually: to run) our various SEO projects. Your main role is to build and maintain a relationship with our clients. We believe that a good consultant has building a relationship as their top priority. Once you have built up trust with a client, helping them to implement the strategy you have helped create is a far simpler job. An analyst with Distilled has a varied and challenging day. You will be responsible for creating and executing a strategy to help companies of all sizes kick ass.

The Details

Right now, we are looking for people with a little experience of Online Marketing – gained either through working in-house, at an agency, or through your own projects. You will be joining in a Junior SEO Consultant / SEO Analyst role. Starting salaries will depend on experience, but are typically in the $40,000 – $50,000 range, with the opportunity to grow fast as you take on more responsibilities and ownership.
