Meet our London Team
Let’s start right away by saying Distilled isn’t your typical company. If you are looking for a 9-5 where you aren’t challenged and won’t be given any responsibilities, then you’re in the wrong place. If you are looking for an environment where you are expected required to excel in your job, then look no further.
Distilled started in London, which is where you still find the majority of Distilled staff—including the two directors and most of the guys and gals who aren’t SEO consultants.
We are a well-known name within the SEO industry, and we enjoy a reputation for being experts. The London office has around 20 staff, of which eight are actively involved in SEO for our clients. We are 100% owned by the two directors. We contribute regularly to many of the leading industry blogs, and we encourage our staff to speak at conferences worldwide. Last year we ran our own conference in London, and this year we are expanding to include conferences in New Orleans and Boston.
We are aiming to build an environment that is the best place for the best people to work. We aren’t there yet, but we like to set ourselves lofty goals, and we are constantly looking for ways to make this goal come true. We organise bi-monthly parties and have enforced fun at weekly Beer O’Clock. We have a weekly fruit delivery to keep us all heathly and have regular trips to Smithfield Market for breakfast (and Guinness) to ruin all that good work.
Distilled is a very ambitious company with constant opportunities to grab something and make it your own. Working at Distilled is hard but always exciting, and we are constantly offering opportunities to do amazing things. For example:
Lynsey joined as an executive assistant to Will and Duncan and now is heading up our events division and running our conferences worldwide.
Rob joined as an SEO consultant and now is VP of Operations for our Seattle office, where he leads a staff of eight.
We are super picky about who we offer jobs to, but if you are super smart, have an uncanny ability to get stuff done and think you can add something to the Distilled office, then what are you waiting for?
